Aurora

Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian singer and songwriter from Norway. Her birthplace was in Stavanger on June 15, 1996 and professionally known as Aurora. The name of her can be also stylized in the form of AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15th, 2015 it received a raving review from bloggers and music critics and the press. The artist has already released two top-of-the-line covers Half the World Away by the group Oasis in a commercial for Christmas from John Lewis and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole. Katy Perry, who endorsed the tune Runaway by her, also gave her the track a little more attention. Celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes' first musical memory involves finding a small piano in her basement, and being fascinated at the sound it produced. Jan Oystein Aksnes, her parents May Britt Aksnes, and Jan Oystein Aksnes, encouraged their daughter to take up music more as a hobby than a profession. The singer began to write songs of her own. She credits Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen, along with Bjork for being among her inspirations. After her mom said that her songs could not only help her gain fame, however, they could also help others understand their significance within the global community and see the possibilities for the songs, she decided to begin singing in public. The piano was her first instrument when she was six years old and started creating music when she was nine. Her family didn't know about this until she turned fourteen. Aurora did not have a set goal. Her sole passion is writing music. To her, music is the most effective way to express anything.
