Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani, who is among the best-known and wealthiest Reggae singers was born on Friday, February 26, 1976 in Falmouth Jamaica. Shottas was one of the most acclaimed films in which he appeared along with another artist Wyclef. Ky-Mani was signed to Shang Records where he recorded his debut album in 1996. With Father Like Son and several singles: Judge Not with Patra then Dear Dad" (which topped the British reggae charts) Who The Cap is (remix) and Sensimelia each of which contributed to his rising popularity in the new wave of reggae artists. In 1997, Ky-Mani teamed up together with Praswell (Fugees) on Avenue which was a smash cover from Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley was the first artist to appear on stage at Midem in Miami which was an international festival of music. Marley's performance on stage at Cameo Theatre was broadcast live across 36 countries via Caribbean News Agency. Marley ended up in a bidding battle. In 1997, she signed a contract with Gee Street/V2
